As we drove to the Show this morning it actually begin to snow and some of it even appeared to be settling so we expected plenty of absentees today. That wasn't how it turned out, however, and thankfully the snow didn't last for long. The attendance was quite a bit up on last year which made for a lovely atmosphere in the hall and absentees were very few. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the Show on such a cold day and made it such a success.
John Ryder conducted the Show extremely well and his decisions all seemed to accepted in the type of excellent sporting manner that speaks volumes for all the members of our Society. The Committee would like to extend their special thanks to John for his excellent work throughout the day.
After the Show our Trophy Secretary, Mr Paul Grimwood, presented the Annual Trophy Awards. The names of all the winners were sent out with the last newsletter but the top points winner for last year and winner of 'The Presidents Cup' was RAVE REVIEWS HERE AT IZUMIS owned by Mrs J Day.
Next up is the Society's AGM and there are also two supported shows before our next show which is the Open Show in June so we hope you will all try to come along to support all of these events.
